Subject matter expert in the development, planning, and execution of the Bank’s or department’s communication strategy. Develops and leads plans for effective communication strategies, projects, and programs specifically to promote engagement and understanding of Bank and department goals, high-priority initiatives, and stakeholder viewpoints.
Essential Accountabilities
Advises key stakeholders on developing and executing effective communication strategies related to high-priority projects and develops and oversees additional projects.
Responsible for creation and execution of communication strategies and tactics targeted at Bank leadership and employees.
Writes or reviews communication deliverables for the Bank or department across a variety of communication media.
Develops and implements measurement strategies related to communications tools and approaches.
Develops key relationships with and promotes ongoing collaborative partnerships with Bank and Federal Reserve System colleagues.
Ensures web content and communication materials are maintained to keep information current and engaging.
Recognized as an expert and advisor within the organization and has in-depth expertise in communications and broad knowledge of other disciplines within other departments.
Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on business lines or the Bank.
Experience working in a matrixed communications environment.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related work experience OR
Master’s degree and 7 years of related work experience
Knowledge and Skill Areas- Expert Level
Previous experience translating complex initiatives into effective communication campaigns
Advanced skills to counsel senior leadership in the capacity of a strategic advisor
Expert written, verbal, and multimedia communication skills
Expert knowledge of project management
Experience using data analytics to measure effectiveness of communication initiatives
Expert in creating concise and compelling communications for different audiences
Experience with content-management platforms; familiarity with Sitecore a plus
Expert knowledge of creating and executing effective communications plans and campaigns
Experience leveraging intranet to drive employee engagement
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Expert problem-solving and analytical skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of design tools; experience with Canva and Photoshop a plus
Individual and team innovation and collaboration
The expected starting salary range for the Senior Communications Advisor is between $123,700 and $154,600 annually. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
