Description
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Material Handler in Marietta, GA. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will be responsible for managing inventory movement, picking orders, and supporting distribution operations for a leading pet supplies brand. In a Material Handler job, you’ll be responsible for:
- Accurately picking, packing, and staging pet supplies for outbound shipment.
- Receiving, inspecting, and unloading incoming inventory into the warehouse.
- Transporting products safely using manual and powered material handling equipment.
- Organizing stock across storage racks to maintain an efficient distribution workflow.
- Verifying purchase orders and shipping manifests against physical inventory counts.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse work environment.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily distribution and shipping targets.
What you’ll need:
- Proven previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience with inventory control, order picking, and stock replenishment.
- Ability to operate basic material handling tools and equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and shipping documentation.
- Reliable transportation and dependable daily attendance.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving distribution environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials throughout your shift.

- Consistent Pay: $17.00/hr
- Day Shift Schedule: Mon & Tues (7:00 AM start) | Wed–Fri (8:30 AM start)
