Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain business continuity and system reliability in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system performance and reliability through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Desktop Management.
- Strong understanding of operating system architecture and desktop environment configurations.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues in Windows desktop environments.
- Familiarity with patch management, system updates, and security configurations.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and monitoring software to track system performance and identify faults.
- Skilled in scripting and automation to streamline desktop management tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
