As a Financial Control & Tax Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end record-to-report cycle, general ledger accounting, financial close, tax compliance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support, while ensuring strong internal controls and process efficiency.
About You
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and review journals, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany, and control accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, trial balance, and supporting schedules.
- Manage tax compliance activities including VAT, withholding tax, income tax, tax reconciliations, and coordination with tax advisors and authorities.
- Support statutory reporting, external/internal audits, and timely closure of audit findings.
- Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements across R2R, GL, and tax activities.
- Lead and develop the accounting team and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting / R2R / GL / tax.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GL, tax compliance, audit, and accounting standards.
- ERP experience (SAP/Oracle or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
