The purpose of this entry level position is to perform functional administrative processes in support of the assigned division. The role supports the division responsibilities by processing and organizing data and maintaining records under processes that are typically pre-defined. The incumbent will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the district's policies and procedures and the department’s work processes. Some level of independent judgment is expected as well as a high level of professionalism, courtesy and patience. Most work will be performed under direct supervision. A commitment to customer service is expected as the incumbent will often be interfacing with other staff members.
Education/Technical Requirements & Work Experience
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree with major emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred or a combination of college and experience in systems operation.
WORK EXPERIENCE
<2 years of related work experience, most notably in Workday.

General Responsibilities
Human Resources Management Systems
Perform functional support activities for the HRMS team by researching system issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions.
Assist with testing, validation, and implementation of HRMS upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.
Develop, maintain, analyze, and distribute recurring and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards, data queries, and workforce metrics.
Conduct regular audits of HRMS data, including employee profile verification and data validation, to ensure data integrity and proactively resolve discrepancies.
Maintain system documentation, business process guides, and end-user procedures.
Evaluate HR business processes and recommend improvements to workflows, system functionality, and customer service that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Support implementation of new HRMS functionality through testing, documentation, change management, and end-user adoption.
Assist the HRMS team in providing functional guidance to HR staff regarding HRMS processes, business workflows, and system capabilities.
Develop training materials and assist in delivering end-user training on HRMS functionality and HR business processes.
Collaborate with other stakeholders to resolve system issues and support cross-functional initiatives.
Maintain awareness of HRMS trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement.
Assist in maintaining HRMS security roles, reference tables, and system configuration as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
Respond to functional HRMS inquiries and provide guidance regarding HR processes, system functionality, onboarding, and employee transactions.
Assist in the administration of learning programs within the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, assignments, and reporting.
Participate in HR technology projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Positions in this class typically require repetitive motions, walking, talking and hearing. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time with ability to reach, bend and move up/down on steps. Must be able to lift up to 50-pounds.
The position requires considerable concentration, creativity and ability to manage time effectively. The position is subject to stress caused by a changing public environment, mandatory deadlines and heavy workload. Requires the ability to ask questions that will bring forth the information needed to make sound decisions.
