Job Description
This role supports the implementation and ongoing management of governance, risk and process improvement initiatives across Group Wholesale Banking. The individual will work with Group functions and country / overseas stakeholders to coordinate implementation, monitor progress, track issues and support timely follow-up across countries.
The role requires regular engagement with business, credit, operations and support teams across multiple countries to ensure Group requirements are understood, implementation issues are surfaced early, and agreed actions are completed.
Job Description
- Support the implementation of Group initiatives across GWB business units, subsidiaries and overseas branches, including stakeholder engagement, issue resolution and progress reporting.
- Coordinate governance and audit remediation activities, including preparation of management updates, maintenance of action trackers and monitoring of remediation progress.
- Review credit and operational processes, identify opportunities for process enhancement and support the implementation of agreed control improvements.
- Prepare management reports, presentation materials and analysis for governance forums, senior management discussions and regional meetings.
- Support process and system enhancement initiatives, including business readiness, change management and User Acceptance Testing activities where required.
- Support ad-hoc projects across the region.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking, governance, audit, project coordination, business management or process improvement functions.
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple countries and functions.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Good analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in wholesale banking, credit processes or governance-related functions would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
