Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Join Zentiva as a Polish-speaking Accounts Payable Specialist and become part of a collaborative, international team driving excellence across our finance operations. This is a hybrid role offering both flexibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs operations in the Accounts Payable process area, such as management of documents from vendors, vendor invoice and credit notes processing, support resolution of disputes with vendors, manage payment proposals, as well as perform AP helpdesk activities.

• Ensures compliance and timely management of expenses via different tools and systems.

• Supports and promotes optimization and acceleration in the Accounts Payables process area across Zentiva.

• Takes part in automation and advanced technology implementations to ensure effective and efficient AP operations.

• Provides on-going functional advise and support in the Accounts Payable process area.

• Develops and maintains policies, guidelines and procedures on time and of high quality.

• Implements and calculates key metrics, tracks and analyzes periodic performance with follow-up on improvement actions.

• Coaches team members on delivering high-quality Purchase to Pay services, ensuring adherence to rules and deadlines.

• Owns and maintains tools and systems in the AP process area, supporting upgrades, retrofits and testing as required.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Master in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.

• 5+ years of Finance functional experience

• 3+ years of progressive experience in AP  operations

• Polish language is a must

• Ability to prioritize tasks, be proactive and drive initiatives that meet expectations of big cross-functional, cross-border user groups.

• Tech-savvy, capable of translating transactional data into clear summaries for management.

• Knowledge of the legal acts in the field of accounting, tax and social security legislation, the main provisions of labor and civil legislation.

• A performance-driven self-starter, confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with ability to express ideas effectively through data or presentation.

• An excellent team player able to operate in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.

• Good communication skills working in an international environment.
