About the Role & Career Growth
In this exciting role, you will support financial operations and facilitate seamless communication between our European headquarters and our subsidiaries across Europe, Turkey, and the CIS region.
Position Level Flexibility: Depending on your qualifications, professional experience, and overall profile, this position may be filled at either the Specialist level or the Junior Specialist level. Your Mission:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Data Consolidation: Assist in gathering, organizing, and consolidating financial data from regional subsidiaries.
- Reporting: Support the analysis of monthly financial results and prepare reporting packages for our HQ in Korea.
- Performance Insights: Help prepare clear performance reports, summaries, and financial presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Financial Monitoring: Assist in reviewing and monitoring the financial activities and fund disbursements of our subsidiaries to detect irregularities.
- Compliance & Audits: Support internal audits to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and group-level policies.
- Process Integrity: Review approval workflows to ensure procedural correctness and assist in drafting documentation for management decision-making.
- Standards Alignment: Support basic tax compliance coordination and help consolidate regional financial data to align with HQ standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Regulatory Tracking: Monitor and track changes in local accounting standards and tax regulations across regions.
- Cash Flow: Assist in monitoring and reporting daily and monthly cash flow activities.
- System Development: Support the maintenance and optimization of financial data systems across the EU region.
- Risk Mitigation: Contribute to regional initiatives aimed at streamlining business processes and reducing operational risks.
Your profile
- Education: Completed university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Legal Studies, or a comparable discipline.
- Professional Experience: Initial work experience (5+ years) in corporate finance, accounting, tax, or business analysis.
- Core Knowledge: Solid basic understanding of general accounting and tax principles.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; intermediate-level Korean language skills are nice to have.
- Ambition: Strong interest in working in an international environment and a motivation to pursue professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA, or FRM) in the future.
- Regional Experience: Prior experience with financial closing, statutory accounting, or regulatory compliance within the CIS region or Eastern Europe is highly appreciated and will be additionally shortlisted during the review process.
