Job Description:
This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation. The candidate will leverage SQL, reporting tools, and internal data sources to identify trends, support quality assurance activities, and deliver data-driven insights. Partners with stakeholders to identify and implement automation, reporting, and workflow improvement opportunities that enhance operational effectiveness, increase efficiency, and strengthen risk and control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Leverages SQL, reporting tools, and internal data sources to identify trends, improve control effectiveness, and drive process improvements.
• Analyzes trading activity, violations, margin, and options-related risk indicators to identify potential control gaps and emerging risks.
• Develops and maintains reporting and analytics that support quality assurance activities, management oversight, and governance reporting.
• Identifies opportunities for automation and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and strengthen the control environment.
• Oversees the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
• Supports the monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation
• Implements optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
• Conducts and coordinates quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness
• Performs QA activities including executing on controls, managing cases, and reporting results
• Executes initiatives by identifying areas of potential testing automation, procedural updates, thematic trends, test script updates, and coaching opportunities to enhance QA program success
• Supports the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Trade Elevation and the team’s trade and risk review processes.
• Ability to identify opportunities to leverage technology, data, and automation to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Strong understanding of available CI tools, reporting platforms, and data sources.
• Ability to support multiple team functions while managing competing priorities.
• Thorough understanding of markets, trading violations, margin, and options as they relate to customer account activity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, investigate exceptions, and recommend solutions.
• Experience using SQL, business intelligence tools, and data analysis techniques to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Knowledge of monitoring, surveillance, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.-  Good communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
• Proven ability to lead and influence with key partners including Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit
• Ability to adjust and react with optimism and professionalism-solution oriented
• Attention to detail and ability to hold others accountable without direct supervision.
• Able to work in fast-paced, multi-priority environment
• Proven experience with raising the bar on performance expectations

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience developing SQL queries and automated reporting solutions.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing process improvements.
• Familiarity with trade surveillance, exception management, and regulatory compliance environments.
• Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65)

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$71,500.00 - $107,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
