Senior 2D Artist

Overview

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior 2D Artist to join our Mobile Games team. In this role, you will lead the creation of high-quality game art, UI/UX assets, icons, screenshots, and promotional creatives while ensuring a consistent visual style across projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior artists, and contribute to the artistic vision of our games.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D game art, UI/UX assets, icons, screenshots, and marketing creatives for mobile games.
• Develop concept art, illustrations, and in-game assets that align with the game's visual direction.
• Design engaging App Store and Google Play assets to support ASO and user acquisition campaigns.
• Maintain and evolve the visual identity and art style across multiple game projects.
• Mentor junior artists by providing guidance, feedback, and design best practices.
• Review artwork to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to project standards.
• Utilize AI-assisted design tools to improve creativity and streamline production workflows.
• Optimize art assets for performance across different mobile devices and resolutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, mobile gaming art styles, and emerging design technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Game Art, Multimedia, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a 2D Artist, preferably in the mobile gaming industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile game art, UI/UX, icons, screenshots, and promotional assets.
• Strong understanding of composition, color theory, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent creative thinking with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working with AI-assisted design workflows.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Spine 2D, and Figma.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating App Store and Google Play ASO creatives.
• Knowledge of 2D animation and motion graphics.
• Experience with VFX for mobile games.
• Familiarity with AI image generation tools.
• Passion for mobile games and a strong understanding of current gaming trends.
