Job Description Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Finance professional to join our team as a key business partner across Europe ITR organization.
In this role, you will be at the intersection of finance and commercial strategy, providing critical financial insights and analytical support to drive deal
progression, optimize business performance, and protect the financial interests of the organization. The ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations will be essential in influencing both short- and long-term financial outcomes across Orders, P&L and Cash.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Partner with ITR leaders, Service Directors, and Commercial teams to deliver actionable financial insights that support informed decision-making and optimize financial performance across short- and long-term horizons.
  • Support the Commercial team in progressing deals toward closure by evaluating deal economics, analyzing customer financials, assessing risk profiles and exposures, and proposing mitigation strategies to protect business interests.
  • Actively participate in contract negotiations and pricing discussions, ensuring financial terms are aligned with business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Drive the optimization of key financial metrics - Orders, P&L, and Cash-  by identifying commercial and operational risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive business performance by supporting cost management, outage performance, cash optimization, trade financing instruments, invoicing resolution, parts prioritization, and broader operational excellence.
  • Leverage business analytics and financial modeling to continuously improve business performance and communicate optimization opportunities to operational teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Sales, Legal, Supply Chain, and FP&A teams, to ensure financial considerations are embedded in all commercial decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering (this is a must for Hungary); equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Proven working experience in Power Business.
  • Graduate Program alumni are eligible with a minimum proven post-program professional experience.
  • Fluency in English is a must.

Desired Characteristics

  • Commercial acumen with experience in contract structuring, deal economics, and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Experience with bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other security instrument is a strong advantage.
  • Experience leading or supporting large, complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Ability to perform and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially curious with a continuous improvement mindset
