The Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Technician / Drafter to join our North Sydney team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of various building and infrastructure projects across NSW.
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Drafting and delivery of building and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Revit
- Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and Robert Bird Group
- Delivering projects within strict timeframes while ensuring quality performance meets Robert Bird Group's objectives
- Liaising with the engineering team, external stakeholders and clients regarding project specifications and details
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Design or equivalent
- 5+ years of structural drafting experience working for an engineering design consultancy
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD and Revit
- Proven experience in delivering building and infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability to consistently utilise strong time management skills, with the ability to plan workloads and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards
- Able to work on your own initiative and in a team environment
