Position Overview:  

 

The Reset Inventory Associate provides support to projects for our customers in a variety of retail, grocery, and warehouse environments.  The Retail Inventory Associate performs tasks including but not limited to store resets, remodels, reading and acting on plan-o-grams, and cleaning and resetting products, shelves, pegs, and tags.  When working in an Inventory role, you will scan the barcodes with our proprietary handheld devices, for the current inventory at Customer locations to provide them with proper inventory information that will assist them in making better business decisions and better supporting their customers!  The Reset Inventory Associate embodies our values of Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork, additionally a focus on customer dedication, and making safety and security a personal priority. Essential Responsibilities:  

  • Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures 
  • Ability to work varied, traditional and non-traditional hours, including flexible schedules 
  • Ability to be able to work the entire duration of the project they are assigned is preferred 
    • Projects may include overnight work
    • Assignments can last from one day to 14 weeks in the same location
  • Ability to understand and follow all components of planograms, including terminology
  • Execute resets in stores and warehouses according to provided instructions and schematics
  • Clean and adjust shelves, base decks, top rails, and pegboards per planogram specifications
  • Install or replace clear plastic label holders and new product labels where necessary 
  • Communicates information clearly and accurately, in both verbal and written form, in a positive manner, productive and professional manner 
  • Creates partnerships and instills trust and confidence in one's abilities, based upon demonstrated expertise 
  • Achieves established average per hour (APH) counting goals while ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data collected in all inventories worked 
  • Scan the barcodes at Customer locations to provide them with proper inventory information 

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:  

  • Must be willing to complete pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment drug screening, and Customer specific Certification program for certain projects when necessary
  • Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
  • Access to reliable transportation

 

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:  

  • Reset or Retail experience preferred  
  • Ability to work independently  
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills 
  • Effective customer relations skills
  • Prior teamwork experience in a customer service setting preferred 
  • Prior teamwork experience in an inventory and/or retail setting preferred  

 

 Working Conditions:  

 

This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; the ability to frequently be in low level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching, as well as frequent standing; the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Occasional travel may be required via plane or automobile, including overnight stays.
