What you'll be doing:
A Financial Accountant is responsible for running the accounting and financial activities for Premier Research.
Producing monthly management accounts according to US GAAP.
Providing transactional detail to ‘in country accountants’ to produce their local statutory accounts.
Taking care of the accounting aspects of several legal entities within Premier Research Group.
Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
Tax compliance
Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
Applies accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including the production of journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
Performs financial calculations to support financial transactions relating to cash, pre-payments, accruals, fixed assets, costs and others when needed.
Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
Examining financial records to check for accuracy
Managing and training when necessary
Supports to Finance Manager for central tasks when applicable
Participates in corporate initiatives and actions that ensure the continued success of the company
What we are searching for:
A degree and experience in the financial field, a recognized professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) would be desirable.
Prior experience using computerized information systems preferred.
Works with internal and external customers/vendors to meet project specific goals.
Experience in dealing with local tax authorities.
3-5 years of related experience.
