About the Team
We are part of a technology and software engineering centre in Bucharest, Romania, delivering mission-critical solutions for a leading global financial institution. Our team oversees a high-frequency, low-latency Order and Execution Management system, supporting Private Bank business lines across multiple regions. We are hands-on, pragmatic, and focused on delivering the best product to our users.
Role Profile
The CI/CD Engineer will be the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, analysing business requirements and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping implement solutions that drive operational efficiency and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the SDLC process and controls (policies).
- Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to satisfy and close SDLC controls.
- Support teams in their migration from on-premise to Cloud technologies.
- Support teams to configure and implement pipelines.
- Document knowledge base articles and other materials as required.
Skills & Requirements
- Deep technical skills in at least one core language: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools: BitBucket, TeamCity/Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Dockerfiles, Helm, GCP/Azure/AWS.
- Experience with application development and multi-platform architectures.
- Strong experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles, and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- English mandatory, German a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GCP.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
