Why this is an exciting opportunity
Are you detail-oriented, curious about financial services operations, and looking for a part-time (2 days pw) opportunity where your work genuinely matters?
As an Investment Administration Officer at HUB24, you’ll support the smooth and accurate processing of cash movements, reconciliations, payments and rebates across our investment operations. You’ll work with internal teams and external partners to help deliver high-quality outcomes for clients, while also contributing ideas to improve the way we work. This role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, working with detail and being part of a collaborative team that values accuracy, service and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing
- Allocate and reject client cash payments, including SuperStream deposits.
- Support reconciliation and settlement of cash received into custody.
- Investigate and allocate unknown deposits, including managing unclaimed monies where required.
- Process direct debit, electronic funds transfer and BPAY transactions.
- Process, validate and follow up rebate payments from Fund Managers, Portfolio Providers and other relevant entities.
- Update administration systems relating to rebates and cash movements.
- Follow HUB24 processes, procedures and compliance obligations.
- Proactively contribute to process improvements and look for smarter, more effective ways of working.
What you bring

Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in financial services, or completion of a related qualification.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build trusted working relationships and establish professional credibility.
- Knowledge of Australian banking and payment processing.
- Understanding of financial products or instruments in the domestic market, with cash experience highly desirable.
- A commitment to high standards of client service, continuous improvement and delivering quality outcomes.
- A flexible, agile and calm approach when working in a fast-moving environment or under pressure.
