Lithia Ford of Fresno is seeking an experienced, licensed Automotive Smog Technician to join our growing service team. If you're committed to delivering high-quality work, exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform California Smog Check inspections in accordance with state regulations.
• Conduct emissions testing and diagnose emissions-related concerns.
• Complete repairs necessary to bring vehicles into compliance when applicable.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Perform vehicle inspections and communicate repair recommendations to service advisors.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You’ll Bring

• Current California Smog Inspector License (required).
• Smog Repair License is a plus.
• Previous dealership or high-volume automotive repair experience preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

The Flat Rate Range for this position is $17.00 - $45.00.

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on Production Productivity.

Actual pay offered will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
