Being a Plant Electrical Project Engineer is an exciting task, since you are the superhero, our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs; therefore, these here are your most important tasks:

  • Manage electrical engineering activities for factory construction, expansion and modernization projects. 
  • Coordinate the planning, design and implementation of electrical systems for the plant. 
  • Review electrical drawings, technical specifications and electrical design solutions, including power load calculations and equipment selection. 
  • Supervise electrical installation works on site, including quality, schedule and safety. 
  • Coordinate electrical requirements for HVAC, compressed air systems and other facility equipment. 
  • Organise electrical system commissioning, testing and handover. 
  • Coordinate with design institutes, contractors, suppliers and local utility companies. 
  • Support power connection, inspection and energisation processes. 
  • Maintain electrical technical documentation and support operation and maintenance handover. 


Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s the reason why it is essential for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, Automation or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering/project management in industrial plants, manufacturing facilities or large-scale buildings. 
  • Good knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS and related equipment. 
  • Experience with 10 kV or higher voltage systems is an advantage. 
  • Good knowledge of electrical installation standards and applicable Polish regulations. 
  • Ability to read and review electrical drawings and technical documentation. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD. 
  • Experience in managing contractors and coordinating multi-disciplinary construction activities. 
  • Valid SEP G1 E/D qualification is an advantage; qualifications covering MV systems above 1 kV are particularly relevant to this position. 
  • Good command of English (B2 or above); Polish is an advantage. 
  • Strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills.
