Description
A leading organisation is recruiting for a highly analytical and innovative Quantitative Analyst to join a dynamic team. This opportunity is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives on solving complex business challenges through mathematical modelling, statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, optimise and implement advanced quantitative models, analytical methodologies and AI-driven solutions.
- Develop, test and maintain predictive, statistical and mathematical models that support strategic business decision-making.
- Design, build and implement AI applications, intelligent agents and automation solutions.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for optimisation.
- Translate business requirements into practical analytical models and actionable insights.
- Validate model outputs and conduct regular audits and enhancements to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units to understand challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Produce reports, presentations and recommendations for management and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of analytical capabilities, model libraries and best-practice frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, risk management and regulatory requirements.
- Support and mentor junior analysts while promoting analytical excellence across the business.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantitative Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantitative analysis, statistical modelling, machine learning or advanced analytics.
- Experience designing and implementing AI solutions, models, applications or intelligent agents.
- Strong knowledge of predictive modelling, econometrics, data analysis and optimisation techniques.
- Proficiency in analytical and programming tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS or similar technologies.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful business insights.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy legislation and model risk management principles will be advantageous.
