Description
Club SciKidz runs Science, Lego, and Cooking after school programs throughout Howard County. We are currently looking for instructors and assistants for our science & cooking classes that start mid to end September in Howard County. Each session (6 weeks) is a different theme/topic. Each class consists of hands-on experiments and lessons. All lessons and materials are provided.

Mondays
Science @ Centennial Lane ES- arrive: 3:05pm, class 3:20pm-4:20pm; starts 9/28; need lead & assistant
Science @ Fulton ES- arrive: 3:45pm, class 4pm-5pm; starts 9/28; need lead & assistant
Cooking @ Pointers Run ES- arrive 3:45pm, class 4pm-5:25pm; starts 9/28; need assistant
Tuesdays
Cooking @ Fulton ES- arrive: 3:45pm, class 4pm-5:25pm; starts 9/29; need lead & assistant
Cooking @ Ilchester ES- arrive: 3:45pm, class 4pm-5:25pm; starts 9/29 need assistant

Program Details:
- Programs run for 1 hour once a week, for 6 weeks. Applicants need to be able to commit to working all weeks in the session.
- All locations are in Howard County. Programs are held at different schools and community centers .
- You are paid by the class. Each class runs an hour and arrival time is 15 minutes before class starts. Pay starts at $30 for per class and is based on experience.
- All lessons and materials are provided.
Ideal Candidate:
- For LEAD INSTRUCTORS: We are looking for folks who have experience working with and teaching children.
- For ASSISTANTS: We are looking for folks who enjoying working with kids and preferably have a little experience working with children. This position is perfect for high schoolers or college students who don't have lots of experience working with kids.
- Science and/or cooking experience is not required. Experience working with and teaching children is more important than science experience, although an interest or experience in science is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be punctual and reliable. Arriving late, callouts, and no-shows are not acceptable and cannot be tolerated.
- While it is possible to teach only one class a week, preference is given to folks who can teach multiple classes each week.
