Job Description:

  • Manage execution of client and proprietary trades in HKEX-listed and US listed equities, index futures (e.g., HSI/HSCEI), stock options, and related products.
  • Utilize and optimize local trading platforms (e.g., AMS/3, MWS, Bloomberg, FIX connectivity).
  • Maintain high-net-worth client coverage.
  • Respond proactively to market developments and client needs within the HK time zone.
  • Monitor client exposures within pre-set risk and credit limits.
  • Ensure full compliance with Hong Kong SFC, HKEX regulations, and internal governance.
  • Supervise, develop, and train junior dealers and trainees.
  • Promote a high-performance and controls-focused culture, fostering teamwork, transparency, and accountability.
  • Identify new opportunities in HK equities, futures, and derivatives for the firm and clients.
  • Analyze HK market trends, propose product innovations.
  • Work closely with technology, risk, operations, and compliance to ensure effective workflow, efficient trade lifecycle management, and issue resolution.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in equity and/or futures trading with a proven record on HK market.
  • Holder of valid SFC license (Type 1 & Type 2 preferred).
  • Deep understanding of HKEX trading systems, rules, products, and settlement cycles.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills; able to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Good command of English, Cantonese, and preferably Mandarin.
