Content Creator

The Content Creator is responsible for developing and producing engaging, promos and social media-native content that supports SPT’s marketing, FAST channels, and Ad Sales initiatives across digital and social ecosystems. This role blends creative storytelling with execution, requiring a strong understanding of audience behavior, platform dynamics, and performance-driven content strategies. This role will also require a strong writing in Portuguese to support the team with Portuguese video adaptations.

The ideal candidate understands each platform (Instagram/TikTok/Youtube/Linkedin) the differences between their algorithms and how to create content differently for each. The candidate must have the capacity to understand and create culture and translate it as digestible content for our audiences. He/she is both a creative and a maker—capable of concepting, shooting, editing, and talking to camera to even make editorials using his own image and voice whenever applicable and optimizing content for multiple platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Execution

• Concept, produce, and edit short- and long-form content for platforms including YouTube, social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X), FAST channels, and digital campaigns
• Translate campaign, programming, and brand priorities into engaging, platform-specific content formats
• Create content optimized for performance, including hooks, pacing, thumbnails, captions, and metadata
• Be able to record videos of his or herself, giving social commentary, lists of favorites recommendations, or replicating social trends to organically integrate our brand into the social media conversation.

Multiplatform Strategy & Adaptation

• Adapt content across platforms, ensuring each asset is tailored to platform behavior, audience expectations, and format best practices
• Stay current on platform trends, formats, and algorithm changes to inform content development
• Contribute ideas for recurring formats, series, and scalable content approaches

Editing & Post-Production

• Execute end-to-end editing, including video cuts, sound design, motion graphics, subtitles, and basic color correction
• Produce assets in multiple aspect ratios and versions (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) for cross-platform distribution
• Ensure fast turnaround and high-volume output when required

Performance & Optimization

• Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to review content performance and apply insights to future content
• Iterate on content based on engagement metrics (views, watch time, CTR, retention, etc.)
• Support A/B testing of creative elements (thumbnails, titles, hooks)

Collaboration & Creative Alignment

• Work closely with marketing, social, Ad Sales, and FAST teams to align content with business priorities
• Collaborate with creative teams to maintain brand consistency while evolving content for digital-first audiences

Digital Tools & Skillset

• Video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Design & motion: Photoshop, Illustrator, basic motion graphics
• Social-native tools: CapCut, native platform editors, mobile-first editing workflows
• Analytics: YouTube Studio, Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics (or similar)
• AI tools (preferred): generative editing, captioning, ideation, or workflow tools
• Basic production skills: shooting with DSLR/mobile, lighting, and audio capture

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital production
• Strong portfolio demonstrating multiplatform content (promos, social, YouTube, digital campaigns)
• Understanding of digital content performance and audience engagement
• Ability to work quickly, iterate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong creative judgment with attention to detail
• Native Portuguese speaking with Spanish and English knowledge.
