Spa Group Sales Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Spa Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for soliciting group and leisure business that enables the Spa/Hotel to meet and/or exceed revenue goals while providing exceptional levels of guest service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with all group arrivals and departures, ensure the highest quality of service through accurate, timely booking of treatments, reports and itineraries for all spa group sales.
- Responsible for communication with all meeting planners regarding billing, reports, and follow up that includes attending all Pre-Con meetings, Sales meetings, Resume Meetings, Site Visits regarding the hospitality desk and creative ideas to bring in spa groups.
- Responsible for retail ordering for the Spa and Salon, assisting with Spa operations as needed, and making work schedules for the operational team.
- Assist with Compass and Retail Group Sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College Degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a luxury spa or hotel preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional guest recovery skills
- Enjoy interacting with people in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must possess a positive attitude
- Must be willing to participate in a learning environment
- Must integrate company values throughout all interactions
- Must be able to quickly adapt to effectively using new software products
- Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires walking and standing most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
