What’s the role
As an Associate Engineer, Digital & Drawing Management, you will support the implementation of data and document control procedures, systems, and processes in line with the Information Management Plan, ensuring document consistency, traceability, and compliance across a portfolio of projects while providing stakeholder support and contributing to the resolution of data and document management issues under the guidance of senior team members and management.
What you’ll be doing
- As-Built Drawing Updates- Perform as-built updates of approved redlined drawings in ASSAI, ensuring engineering records accurately reflect final plant conditions and approved field changes.
- Engineering Markup & Drafting-Convert engineering markups, sketches, layouts, and design inputs into controlled drawings supporting MOCs, brownfield modifications, asset improvement projects, and maintenance initiatives.
- Multi-Discipline Drafting Support- Provide drafting and drawing revision support across Piping & Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, and Civil & Structural disciplines.
- Drawing Validation & Quality Assurance-Review drawing packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with drafting standards, document control requirements, and engineering practices.
- Drawing Recreation & CAD Management-Update drawings using available CAD files and recreate drawings from approved source documents when native files are unavailable.
- ASSAI Document Control Support Maintain drawing revision control, traceability, and document management activities within ASSAI throughout the drawing lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Coordination- Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and key stakeholders to prioritize drawing updates, resolve technical queries, and support project close-out activities.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience using 3D model review tools such as Navisworks Freedom, Navisworks Manage, or Smart Plant Review is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in 3D modeling and the use of modeling software such as AVEVA or Smart Plant would be highly beneficial.
- Experience preparing and reviewing redline mark-ups and inspection sketches.
- Knowledge of and experience working with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Candidates from any engineering discipline are welcome to apply.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and MicroStation is preferred.
