Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Leesport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government care location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Security Experience:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience (C112). This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Technical Proficiency:

• Candidates must be comfortable using a computer or tablet (B204). Proficiency in basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms are essential for job performance.

Driver’s License:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). Candidates must provide proof of a valid license and adhere to all applicable driving regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government-operated care location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site policies, maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports as required.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, staff, and responding public-service personnel while helping maintain an orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
