What you will do as an Environmental Health and Safety Student Assistant:
The High School Student Assistant assists the Environmental Health and Safety team in enhancing safety and training programs through creating graphical representations for risk management and updating training materials. The Student Assistant will effectively create visually engaging multimedia safety-related content and assist in revamping training classes by incorporating interactive media and modern instructional techniques using movie editing software. This may involve using specialized equipment, shooting video on-site, or accessing secure equipment or material that are not available remotely.
Required Qualifications
Education
o High School Student in good standing.
Experience
o Experience with filming, editing videos, and creating visual content.
Skills
o Ability to read and understand policies, directives, and instructions in English.
Technical Competencies
o Proficiency in Final Cut movie editing software, Adobe Photoshop Suite and/or other
multimedia software applications.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity applications.
