Team Leader Power Electronics Engineering__

Reporting to the Power Electronics Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of a team focused on delivering traction projects efficiently, and with high quality through close collaboration, technical excellence, and inclusivity. Ready for the journey?
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Systems Engineering & Testing: Design traction power electronics converter and energy storage systems (ESS), while ensuring their seamless integration within vehicles. Your work will align with customer needs, industry standards, and internal specifications. Lead the specification, execution, analysis, and documentation of Type and Qualification tests to ensure robust system performance.
- Technical Leadership & Responsibility: Take technical responsibility for assigned project work packages, develop deep expertise in core engineering competencies, components, or tools, and provide technical guidance to peers. Optimize design processes and customer solutions independently or in cross-functional specialist teams.
- Efficient Project Execution: Leverage your expertise to drive efficient project execution. Planning, coordinating, stakeholder management, solution-oriented communication with a clear focus on quality, schedule, and deliverables.
- Product Standardization: Contribute to the evolution of our traction product families through standardization, and continuous improvements. Leverage your expertise to drive innovation in the integration of traction converters with ESS.
Your Qualifications:
- Power Electronics & Project Experience: A qualified Electrical Engineer with more than 5 years of professional experience in power electronics for customer projects. Able to manage technical tasks, priorities, and deliverables independently. Experience with traction converters and energy storage systems is an advantage.
- Problem Solver with Ownership: A proactive individual who thrives on solving complex challenges, takes a high level of ownership for tasks and project deliverables, and contributes effectively within an inclusive team.
- Curiosity & Continuous Improvement: Eager to continuously expand technical expertise, improve processes, share knowledge with the team, and contribute to a culture of efficient execution and collaboration.
- Fluent Communicator: Clear and efficient communication in English is essential, both written and spoken. Conversational German language skills are a strong advantage.
- Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel opportunities to support projects.
