BIM Manager (Infrastructure)

Parsons is seeking an experienced BIM Manager – Infrastructure to lead BIM management and digital delivery activities within a consultant supervision team in Dubai. The role will be responsible for managing BIM processes throughout the construction stage, monitoring contractor BIM deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements and BIM standards, and coordinating digital information between the supervision team, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and manage BIM activities within the consultant supervision team throughout the construction stage.
Establish, implement, and monitor BIM workflows, standards, procedures, and information management requirements.
Review and monitor contractor BIM submissions, models, federated models, shop drawings, and other digital deliverables for compliance and quality.
Monitor and assess model development and information requirements across project stages, including LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500 deliverables, where applicable.
Manage multidisciplinary BIM coordination between infrastructure, utilities, landscape, structures, and other relevant disciplines.
Lead clash detection and coordination processes, review identified issues, and monitor their resolution and closure.
Monitor contractor compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan, information requirements, naming conventions, model standards, LOD requirements, and agreed workflows.
Coordinate BIM-related technical matters between the supervision team, contractor, consultant, client, and other stakeholders.
Review and monitor the contractor's 4D BIM and 5D BIM workflows, including the integration of BIM models with construction schedules, sequencing, quantities, and cost information, and provide technical guidance where required.
Review and monitor the use of 4D construction simulation and 5D quantity/cost workflows to support construction planning, progress monitoring, and project controls.
Establish and maintain BIM quality assurance and quality control processes for project deliverables, including model and information validation against defined LOD 400 and LOD 500 requirements.
Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to Parsons project team on-site.
Monitor BIM deliverables and digital workflows to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes, coordination efficiency, 4D/5D integration, and digital delivery practices within the supervision team. Support the project team in resolving BIM-related issues and ensuring effective use of digital information during construction.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a BIM Manager or senior BIM professional within infrastructure construction or consultant supervision environments.
Strong experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination and construction-stage BIM management.
Good knowledge of infrastructure and landscape BIM workflows, model coordination, clash detection, and information management.
Strong understanding and practical experience of Level of Development (LOD) requirements, including LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500, and their application throughout design, construction, as-built, and handover stages.
Experience reviewing and validating contractor models and digital deliverables against LOD 400 construction/fabrication requirements and LOD 500 as-built/asset information requirements, where applicable.
Good understanding of 4D BIM and 5D BIM methodologies, including linking BIM models with construction schedules, sequencing, quantities, cost information, progress monitoring, and project controls.
Experience reviewing and monitoring contractor 4D/5D BIM deliverables and workflows within construction environments.
Proficiency in relevant BIM and coordination platforms such as Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Synchro Pro, Autodesk Construction Cloud/Forma, Asite and related tools.
Experience reviewing contractor BIM deliverables and monitoring compliance with project BIM requirements.
Strong understanding of BIM standards, quality assurance/quality control, and digital information exchange.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, clients, and supervision teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead BIM teams, provide technical guidance, and manage BIM-related requirements throughout construction.
Familiarity with ISO 19650 and international BIM standards.
Familiarity with Aldar BIM Standard is highly desirable.
Previous experience in infrastructure and landscape projects within the Middle East is preferred.
