What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, verifying access authorization, and following site-specific procedures for a utilities location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and available security-related systems from a stationary post; issue visitor credentials and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while providing directions, answering routine questions, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift handoffs accurately, and support Allied Universal and site-specific security-related policies and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
