The Senior Associate will work alongside the Managing Director, providing business, analytical and coordination support across key priorities and initiatives. The role will prepare high-quality reports, presentations, analyses and other business deliverables, coordinate stakeholders and activities, and ensure effective follow-through on agreed actions.
Working across functions and countries, the Senior Associate will gain direct exposure to the strategic, commercial and operational matters that shape the business, offering an exceptional opportunity to build broad business knowledge and experience.
Job Description
- Prepare presentations, reports, briefing notes, speeches, talking points and other materials for management meetings, internal events and external engagements.
- Gather, consolidate and analyze information from different functions and countries, highlighting key messages, risks, decisions and required actions.
- Research and prepare briefing profiles on the people, companies and organizations in line with the need of business operations
- Support the Managing Director in responding to business requests from headquarters, investors, clients, partners and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate the collection and presentation of information related to commercial opportunities, potential transactions, due diligence processes and other business operations matters.
- Support cross-functional initiatives sponsored by the Managing Director by coordinating contributors, monitoring timelines and following up on agreed actions.
- Maintain an overview of the Managing Director’s key priorities, commitments and pending actions, helping ensure that matters progress within the required timelines.
- Coordinate the preparation and practical arrangements for key meetings, management committees, visits, and other internal or external events or activities.
- Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion, professionalism and sound judgement.
Required Skills and Competencies
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Law or another relevant discipline.
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage.
- Relevant professional experience in a CEO or Managing Director’s Office, management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, transaction advisory or another business-facing role.
- Experience in preparing materials for executive-level audiences, including management committees, investors, and other top level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business information and develop clear, concise and well-structured presentations and reports.
- Experience coordinating projects or initiatives involving multiple functions and stakeholders.
- Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or power would be beneficial but is not required. Strong general business understanding and the ability to learn the sector quickly are more important.
