In this role, you will be working as an Engineering Operations Manager for a client in the combustion and emissions control industry. You will serve as the primary coordinator between customers, engineering, and production, leading cross-functional programs from quotation through production launch and customer acceptance. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, identifying risks and driving mitigation plans, and coordinating the design, development, and validation of combustion hardware including burner elements, combustion systems, and air-fuel mixers. You will also manage and mentor the engineering technical design team, oversee customer engagement and quotation development, and provide high-level leadership across quality system, supply chain, and production planning activities while working closely with the Plant Manager, Controller, and President on strategic planning and execution.
This position is a Direct Hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked onsite.
Salary range: $150,000 - $190,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related
- Proficiency in thermodynamics, combustion systems or related energy technologies
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering program management, or operations
- 4+ years in a leadership role
- Proficient with customer-facing responsibilities and strong communication skills
- Experience preparing quotations, cost estimates, and project plans
- Experience with manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Able to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bonus:
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and audit processes
- Strong technical skills in thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, or mechanical design
