Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager of Campus Store Operations ,Part-time Student Campus Store Assistant is responsible for the efficient, responsiveness, and safety of the Retail Area. The incumbent also supports and performs duties with pricing, tagging and verification of goods in our S&R department, placing incoming merchandise on shelves for resale as well as the assembly of course-related kits during the summer.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate a POS Terminal
Preparing Products for Resale;
Assists co-workers with the assembly of various course-related kits for the start of term;
Assists co-workers with placing incoming merchandise on shelves;
Pricing, barcoding, and securing merchandise according to Campus Store Policy.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma;
Student must be in Business or Supply Chain Management program.
Minimum six (6) months of previous Shipping & Receiving or Retail Experience;
The incumbent must be registered as an International Student with Algonquin College.
