Position Overview
A large multispecialty group in New York City is actively seeking a Gynecologist to provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services in an outpatient setting in the Bronx. This opportunity offers flexible part-time or full-time scheduling and is ideal for physicians who are passionate about preventive care, routine gynecologic services, and managing a broad range of women’s health conditions in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Evaluation

Provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including annual wellness exams, preventive screenings, and routine women's health services

Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecologic conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, infections, menopause-related concerns, and other reproductive health issues

Perform detailed patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations

Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
Clinical Procedures & Management

Perform office-based gynecologic procedures as appropriate
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Provide contraceptive counseling and management
Care Coordination & Collaboration

Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and advanced practice providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
-
Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when indicated
-
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning for complex cases
Patient Education

Educate patients regarding preventive health measures, reproductive health, and wellness strategies
-
Counsel patients on family planning, menopause management, and lifestyle modifications
-
Promote preventive screenings and early detection initiatives
Documentation & Compliance
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR/EHR systems

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Participate in quality improvement initiatives as appropriate
Qualifications
-
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
-
Active or eligible for New York State medical license
-
Experience in outpatient gynecology preferred (new graduates may be considered)

Strong clinical and patient care skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
