Description
Leidos is seeking a customer service-oriented Time & Pay Solutions Specialist to join our Corporate Payroll team. This position provides high-volume support to employees and managers related to timesheets, payroll, and other pay-related matters.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager questions related to timekeeping and payroll, researching issues and providing guidance or escalation as appropriate.
- Assist employees with time sheet entries and corrections in the system of varying complexity in accordance with established timekeeping and payroll procedures.
- Review payroll and timekeeping information to identify issues and assist with resolution.
- Assist employees and managers with timecard questions and transactions.
- Process garnishments and garnishment refunds in accordance with established procedures.
- Process Notification of Change (NOC) and direct deposit returns and assist with employee banking and payment issues.
- Respond to a high-volume of employee inquiries through phone and case management systems, providing research, guidance, resolution, or escalation as appropriate.
- Process Approver Group and Modifier Group tickets, including updates to manager approval groups for timecard approval and required follow-up.
- Provide payroll and timekeeping information to HR, Legal, management, and other teams as needed.
- Support payroll and timekeeping audits, reporting, and special projects.
- Identify recurring issues and escalate when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED and 2+ years of payroll or timekeeping experience.
- Experience with Deltek, Costpoint, and or any other timekeeping systems.
- Deadline oriented and ability to multi-task.
- Proven working experience in providing customer phone and ticket support.
- Strong Client-facing and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of time charging and payroll policies/procedures, adhering to company and federal labor laws.
- Working knowledge of helpdesk software, databases, and remote control.
- Experience supporting payroll and/or timekeeping processes.
- Ability to research and resolve employee questions and issues.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience handling confidential employee information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with payroll, timekeeping, or case management systems.
- Ability to work U.S. East Coast business hours and additional hours as needed.
- U.S. citizenship required with the ability to obtain a security clearance as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience researching payroll and timekeeping issues.
- Experience working with HR, Payroll, Legal, or other internal teams.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
