Primary Role
- Translate and document project artifacts (business requirement, design, code, unit test, test plan, test report, and other technical documents) from Japanese to English and vice versa
- Bridge communication gaps between project team in Vietnam and onshore counterparts or customers
Work Relationship
- Be an integral part of project team which collectively deliver project
- Receive tasks from and report status of the tasks directly to Project Managers or Project Leaders
Professional Responsibilities
- Translate, document and support team members and onshore counterparts in understanding project artifacts
- Clarify project artifacts; ensure no gap of understanding due to the language barrier
- Facilitate all communication which requires translation, compilation. This includes communication outside project scope if required
- Strictly apply project defined processes, guidelines, and practices
- Responsible and accountable for quality and timeline of project artifacts (documents)
Professional Requirements
- At least 02 years working experienced as a Bridge Software Engineer for software projects in Japan
- Experienced in Agile software development processes and customer support
- Good team work, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Quick learner, willing to go extra
- Be able to work under pressure
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Japanese N2 certified or higher
- English UI certified or higher
- Possesses Life or General Insurance domain knowledge (e.g. LOMA, INS certified)
- Experienced with insurance software solution is a plus
