Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and personable Commercial or Personal Insurance Agent to join a growing team. This role is integral to the agency's commitment to providing exceptional customer service and supporting a local community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both sales and servicing of insurance policies, focusing on standard households and small commercial accounts. This is an onsite position located in Port Angeles, WA, with opportunities for professional growth within a friendly and supportive work environment.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Bonuses: Quarterly bonuses on new business
• Benefits: Currently under review; not offered at this time

Responsibilities

• Sales & Service: Manage a mix of new and renewal business (approximately 75% renewal, 25% new).
• Account Management: Handle accounts ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 in premium.
• Quoting: Provide quotes for new and renewal business.
• Customer Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to service a book of business valued at $14 million in premium.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred.
• Experience: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including those from captive agencies.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with HawkSoft is a plus.
