Senior Technology Resilience Analyst

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Senior Technology Resilience Analyst. This role will be based out of one of our following Beachwood, OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC location on a hybrid schedule.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.

## What you’ll do:

The Senior Technology Resilience Analyst is a senior individual contributor responsible for strengthening enterprise recovery readiness by aligning technology recovery capabilities with business impact expectations. This role has specific emphasis on Technology Impact Assessments as a core component of the Business Impact Analysis process, helping the organization identify critical application, infrastructure, cloud, data, integration, vendor, and service dependencies that support essential business operations. The position partners with technology, product, business, crisis management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business continuity stakeholders to validate recovery requirements, maintain BCDR artifacts, support exercises, assess resiliency gaps, report program health, and drive remediation. Through this work, the Senior Technology Resilience Analyst helps ensure that critical services, applications, processes, infrastructure components, data flows, and third-party dependencies are prepared to withstand and recover from disruptive events in alignment with enterprise resiliency standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and update technology resilience and BCDR program artifacts, including BIAs, Technology Impact Assessments, recovery plans, runbooks, RTO/RPO targets, service ownership data, and dependency mappings.
• Lead and support Technology Impact Assessments to identify critical application, infrastructure, cloud, data, integration, vendor, service, and operational dependencies that support essential business processes.
• Translate business impact requirements into technology recovery expectations, including RTO, RPO, recovery sequencing, minimum service levels, resiliency requirements, and dependency prioritization.
• Assess technology recovery capabilities against business impact expectations and enterprise resiliency standards to identify gaps, risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities.
• Plan, design, and execute technology resilience validation activities such as tabletop exercises, simulation drills, service failovers, dependency walkthroughs, and recovery rehearsals; define objectives, scenarios, success criteria, and evidence requirements.
• Author and maintain assessment materials, recovery checklists, dependency validation templates, evidence capture templates, exercise documentation, and lessons-learned reports; support remediation tracking for identified technology resilience gaps.
• Liaise with application, service, product, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business owners to validate recovery procedures, technical dependencies, assessment outputs, acceptance criteria, and recovery owner rosters.
• Coordinate with Crisis Management, Communications, Legal, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business continuity stakeholders to ensure technology resilience requirements are integrated into escalation, response, recovery, and stakeholder briefing processes.
• Manage third-party technology continuity considerations by integrating vendor dependencies, service restoration expectations, escalation points, and recovery assumptions into Technology Impact Assessments, recovery plans, and exercises.
• Measure and report technology resilience program health, including assessment completion, plan coverage, dependency mapping quality, test results, time-to-recover metrics, RTO/RPO attainment, resiliency gap remediation, and recovery readiness trends.
• Train and onboard recovery participants, Product Owners, assessment stakeholders, and supporting teams on BIA/TIA expectations, technology recovery documentation, dependency validation, recovery readiness, and resiliency awareness.

## Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualficiaitons:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technology resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, Technology Impact Assessment, Business Impact Analysis, technology risk, cyber resiliency, IT operations, application management, infrastructure services, or an equivalent combination.
• Strong understanding of BIA and TIA concepts, including business process criticality, impact tolerances, technology dependency analysis, RTO/RPO, recovery sequencing, minimum service levels, recovery prioritization, and resiliency gap identification.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC to be considered.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to assess technology recovery capabilities across applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, data repositories, integrations, vendors, service dependencies, and upstream/downstream systems.
• Experience translating business impact expectations into actionable technology recovery requirements, recovery strategies, assessment outputs, and remediation recommendations.
• Experience designing and supporting technology resilience validation activities, including tabletop exercises, dependency walkthroughs, simulation drills, service failovers, technical recovery exercises, and recovery rehearsals.
• Familiarity with recovery planning, runbook development, dependency mapping, CMDB data, application inventories, infrastructure services, cloud failover, backups, replication, virtualization, networking, recovery orchestration tools, and application recovery concepts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional assessment workshops, recovery validation sessions, exercise planning discussions, post-exercise reviews, and remediation planning activities.
• Ability to communicate technical dependencies, recovery constraints, resiliency gaps, and business impact implications clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, analysis, reporting, governance support, and project coordination capabilities, including the ability to maintain high-quality assessment artifacts and program health metrics.
• Certifications preferred: CBCP, DRCP, MBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Auditor, ITIL, CISA, CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or related technology risk, resilience, or continuity credentials.
