- Ensures that the patient is properly introduced to the unit and his/her surroundings within one hour after arrival to unit.
- Reflects the physiological condition and psychological needs of the patient.
- Uses observational and interviewing skills to perform a priority patient assessment every shift.
- Makes rounds and documents patient's status on critical care record at least every two hours.
- Identifies abnormal diagnostic data.
- Utilizes standards of care to anticipate potential patient care problems.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors Of Science Nursing - BSN
- 1-3 years Critical Care experience
- 1 year experience as an Acute Care Nurse
- Registered Nurse: Current CA RN license
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 30 Days
