The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment. The role provides day-to-day direction to technicians, prioritizes work activities, monitors maintenance performance, and supports the achievement of operational goals related to equipment uptime, safety, quality, and productivity. The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for employee development, training, and performance management within the assigned area of responsibility

General Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of the maintenance team.
• Assign and prioritize maintenance work, ensuring timely completion of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Support rapid troubleshooting and resolution of equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and company requirements.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and initiate corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Provide coaching, training, development, and performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure proper utilization of maintenance resources, tools, spare parts, and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime, improving equipment performance, and optimizing maintenance processes.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to support business objectives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Support the implementation of new equipment, process improvements, and capital projects within the assigned area.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.

Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Previous experience leading, coordinating, or supervising technical personnel is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices, manufacturing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to organize work, set priorities, and effectively manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication, coaching, and team leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Gross Annual Salary Range:

18,897.00 EUR - 25,984.20 EUR

The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.

The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
