The UKG National Trust Bank (UKG NTB) Chief Payment Officer (CPO) is a senior executive responsible for leading money movement payments demonstrating operational excellence, delivering strategic, scalable technology driven product vision towards transformation, and executing customer-centric focus with cross-collaboration across the organization. This leadership role possesses experience ensuring regulatory compliance with the UKG NTB fiduciary powers OCC charter, delivering money movement strategy, platform system experience to enhance money movement operations for UKG U.S. Pro and Ready platforms and automation (API, AI & Cloud) payment rail technology integration. This role will bring technological vision, product development and excellence, ensuring accurate and secure execution of all money movement activities, including payroll processing, taxes, collections and reconciliation. The CPO, as a member of the UKG NTB leadership team, plays a key role in developing and implementing strategies to optimize payment flows, mitigate operational risks, and manage relationships with our internal stakeholders. The CPO develops and leads an operations team with daily vision and through a technology lens of current regulatory and risk management processes, future products and systems that automate internal controls, increase efficiency, security, and align with the overall business objective of supporting UKG Pro and Ready today and into the future. Key Responsibilities: Leading and Managing Money Movement Operations Lead the money movement team responsible for U.S. Pro and Ready platforms. The payment operations, tax, collections and reconciliations move approximately $350 billion annually. Manage a remote team, providing hands-on support to processes and products to be compliant with OCC bank and fiduciary powers. Member of UKG NTB Management Team Join the management team working collaboratively to define, develop and achieve strategic money movement goals. As a member of the management committees, provide expertise in payment operations, strategic vision, technological product solutions, intercompany relationships and systems knowledge. As the leader of money movement operations, manage the flow of funds, ensure compliance with OCC requirements and continually enhance systems and controls. Risk Management Ensure compliance with OCC regulations and mitigate operational risks related to payment processing. Relevant compliance experience to contribute to TPRM, compliance risk management, AML, product development and change management. Enhance Payment Solutions Bring 15+ years of demonstrated experience in money movement operations, systems, architecture and technology transformations. Collaborate with NTB management, and UKG to identify enhanced payment capabilities and support integration into the company's systems. Drive the implementation of solutions to optimize payment flows, enhance compliance, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI, data analytics and reporting to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decisions. Provide leadership to develop and implement integrated payment solutions driving regulatory compliance, efficiency and scalability to align with UKG growth. Team Leadership Provide guidance and mentorship to the money movement team, fostering a high-performance regulated culture. Lead, mentor, and enable team to scale. Build succession bench strength and elevate skills of the team to leverage technology for heightened compliance and risk management. Skills and Experience: 15+ years in Saas-based companies encompassing money movement, product, systems integration, compliance and strategic leadership. Money Movement Expertise ensuring integrity and security for the money flows in the UKG NTB end-to-end payment operations ecosystems. Regulatory Experience in Fintech, Financial Services or public company: Experience in a fast-paced, regulated environment with accountability for outcomes. Experience with relevant payment and compliance regulations (e.g., Nacha, OFAC, FinCEN). Experienced Product Strategic Leader: Demonstrated vision to lead product development utilizing analytical, strategic and future vision to identify technology solutions and implementation to advance automation for enhanced controls, efficiencies and governance. Leadership and Management Skills: Experience as a senior leader. Working transparently with alignment and communication supporting the management team. Proven ability to lead and mentor payment teams, manage relationships, and drive results. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyze data, present executive reports for the UKG NTB management and directors. Proactively identify issues and recommend effective solutions. Communication and Collaboration Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and collaborate across teams in a large organization. Experience setting and meeting project management timeframes for product and internal controls. The pay range for this position is $190k to $250k, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
