As a Project Director Design Flow on our Corporate Functions team become the heart of our organization by developing strategies, refining processes, and implementing initiatives that empower our business to thrive. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Lead complex, international programs for design-flow software , infrastructure and methodology, with end-to-end accountability for scope, budget, risk, quality and business outcomes Plan and govern the software delivery lifecycle —from requirements and work packages through release, deployment and adoption to sustainable operational handover Establish pragmatic agile methods for design-flow development, enabling transparent prioritization, iterative delivery , rapid feedback and measurable improvement Safeguard stability during the transition to platform-based chip and IP development . Apply controlled change, clear quality criteria, release readiness, lifecycle governance and risk mitigation. Align design systems, reusable IP, deployment capabilities and technical roadmaps to build scalable, maintainable platforms that meet project and business needs Drive cross-functional decisions and lead global teams without direct authority, ensuring stakeholder commitment and compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 26262 and internal processes Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 8+ years in semiconductor , EDA or software-intensive engineering or a comparable technology environment, including proven leadership of complex international projects or programs A university degree in electrical engineering , computer science , physics or a related technical discipline; a project-management qualification is beneficial Proven ability to lead high-impact , cross-functional initiatives with broad organizational reach and end-to-end accountability for scope, budget, resources, risks, dependencies and outcomes Demonstrated success establishing fit-for-purpose agile methods and leading stable adoption of software deployment and platform-based ways of working across complex engineering organizations Ability to translate design-flow and platform architecture into sound business decisions, balancing value, quality, stability, risk and long-term maintainability Proven ability to lead through influence , align senior stakeholders and enable timely decisions across global, cross-functional teams without formal authority Fluent English , German is beneficial #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
