SUMMARY

 

  • Supports the Corporate Communications & Engagement Department by managing brand operations, company store activities, and social media communications.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the company store, including employee uniforms, branded merchandise, inventory management, purchasing, vendor coordination, and employee service.
  • Develops engaging social media content that promotes the organization’s culture, community involvement, and brand identity.
  • Assists with departmental administrative functions, employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and company events.
  • Performs a variety of administrative, operational, and creative duties while maintaining a high level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manage the daily operations of the company store, including approximately 20 hours of weekly store operations.
  • Administer the employee uniform program, including new hire uniform distribution, sizing, ordering, exchanges, inventory management, and employee communications.
  • Maintain inventory of uniforms, branded apparel, promotional products, and company store merchandise.
  • Create purchase orders, process invoices, reconcile inventory, receive shipments, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Research, source, and recommend branded merchandise, apparel, and promotional products that align with company branding standards.
  • Ensure the company store remains organized, stocked, visually appealing, and provides exceptional customer service to employees.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and services through increased efficiency, cost savings, waste reduction, and enhanced employee value.
  • Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across company social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and other approved channels.
  • Design graphics, flyers, digital signage, presentations, and promotional materials using Canva and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capture photography and video content for social media, recruiting, employee recognition, community involvement, and company events.
  • Monitor social media engagement and provide recommendations to improve reach, employee engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Maintain consistency of the company’s visual identity and brand standards across communications and promotional materials.
  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Communications & Engagement Department, including maintaining files, preparing reports, coordinating projects, scheduling meetings, and processing departmental documentation.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, company celebrations, volunteer initiatives, and community outreach events.
  • Assist with event planning, logistics, setup, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Support internal communication initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with experience using Canva, Adobe, or similar graphic design software.
  • Experience creating engaging social media content for business or organizational platforms.
  • Knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with inventory management, purchasing, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and recommend practical improvements to processes and employee services.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Photography and/or basic videography experience.
  • Basic video editing experience.
  • Experience managing promotional merchandise or company store operations.
  • Experience coordinating employee engagement or company events.
  • Basic understanding of branding, marketing, and visual communications.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • One to three years of experience in communications, marketing, retail operations, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience creating social media content and graphic design materials is preferred.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise, uniforms, promotional materials, and event supplies up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods while operating the company store.
  • Ability to walk throughout company facilities during events and employee activities.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
