What You Will Do
As a Senior NPI (New Product Introduction) Project Engineer within the ACVS NPI team, you will lead the successful introduction of new PC, workstation, server and storage-based products into manufacturing. Acting as the key technical interface between engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and customers, you will manage projects from design transfer through validation, production launch and volume ramp-up. This role combines technical expertise in computer hardware platforms with strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

How You Will Do It
- Lead NPI activities for desktop PCs, workstations, rack servers, blade servers and storage systems.
- Manage product introductions from engineering builds through production release and ramp-up.
- Develop and execute project plans, launch schedules and milestone tracking.
- Coordinate Design Validation Testing (DVT) and Production Validation Testing (PVT).
- Ensure manufacturing readiness and successful product launches.
- Review system designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly optimisation.
- Evaluate hardware compatibility across motherboards, CPUs, memory, storage, GPUs, power supplies and networking components.
- Support root cause analysis of hardware, firmware and manufacturing issues.
- Drive resolution of technical challenges with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Monitor project risks, costs, deliverables and timelines.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and provide regular stakeholder updates.
- Manage engineering change notices (ECNs), change requests and product revisions using Windchill.
- Create and validate manufacturing work instructions, assembly processes and test strategies.
- Support process qualification, yield improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate BOM reviews, component qualification and supplier readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards including CE, UL, FCC, RoHS and REACH.
- Lead corrective and preventive action activities to improve quality and reliability.
What We Are Looking For
Required
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in NPI engineering, manufacturing engineering, project engineering, systems integration or PC/server manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of PC architecture, enterprise server platforms and system integration.
- Understanding of BIOS/UEFI systems, hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of storage technologies including SATA, SAS and NVMe.
- Experience of product validation, test methodologies and process control.
- Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
