Key Responsibilities

As the Autoplan Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking vehicle insurance solutions, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Service & Insurance Processing:

    • Deliver personalized, knowledgeable service to walk-in and returning clients seeking Autoplan insurance.

    • Process renewals, new policies, and changes accurately and efficiently, providing guidance tailored to each client's needs.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • Ensure all transactions meet compliance standards set by ICBC and industry regulations.

    • Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all transactions, following internal procedures and timelines.

  • Team Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with team members and management to coordinate workflow and share client insights.

    • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as required, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent service and follow-up communication.

    • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell other insurance products that may benefit the client.


Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience:

    • A Level 1 Insurance License is required; Level 2 is considered an asset.

    • 2–3 years of experience in a customer-facing insurance role, preferably with Autoplan expertise.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency with ICBC Autoplan systems and general brokerage management software.

    • Comfortable navigating office technology including MS Office Suite.

  • Key Competencies:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy, deadline-driven environment.

    • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
