Scrum Master (Infrastructure & IT Delivery)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Whether you're in the heart of the Baltics or working within our hybrid setup, you'll join forces with dedicated professionals in the insurance and financial services sector, supporting a complex IT infrastructure environment across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

You will join an organization undergoing significant transformation and integration, with multiple technology initiatives running in parallel and increasing collaboration with global teams. Your focus will be an infrastructure and maintenance team of approximately 18–19 specialists, supporting development streams while also handling operational activities, incidents, upgrades, deployments, and infrastructure changes.

This is not a traditional Scrum Master role where established processes and pure Scrum are already in place. You will have the opportunity to shape the team's ways of working, introduce practical Agile or hybrid delivery practices, improve planning and prioritization, and bring greater transparency and predictability to infrastructure delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Take ownership of the ways of working and delivery processes within the IT infrastructure and maintenance team, assessing the current setup and implementing a practical Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, or hybrid approach based on the team's needs.
• Organize, maintain, and continuously improve the team's backlog, priorities, and delivery planning.
• Coordinate work across infrastructure specialists throughout the Baltics, considering technical competencies, country responsibilities, capacity, and specialist availability.
• Facilitate discussions between business stakeholders and relevant technical experts, including infrastructure engineers, DevOps specialists, architects, database administrators, and other SMEs.
• Improve estimation and capacity planning to support realistic commitments and predictable delivery.
• Establish greater transparency around workload, bottlenecks, risks, dependencies, and expected delivery timelines.
• Facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, refinements, and retrospectives where they bring value to the team.
• Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes, testing and adapting approaches based on team feedback and results.
• Support the team through ongoing organizational transformation and increasing integration with global IT teams.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Strong experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Technical Project Manager, IT Delivery Manager, or in a similar role.
• Practical experience implementing and improving Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and hybrid Agile delivery models, with the ability to apply Agile principles pragmatically rather than strictly by the book.
• Sufficient technical understanding to confidently work with concepts related to IT infrastructure, cloud and on-premise environments, servers, databases, networking, VPN/VDI, deployments, DevOps, migrations, or system integrations.
• Experience managing backlogs, priorities, dependencies, capacity, and multiple parallel initiatives.
• Strong ability to turn unclear business requests into structured, actionable, and estimable work items together with technical experts.
• Experience with Jira; ServiceNow and ITSM/change-management experience would be a strong advantage.
• Ability to work independently in an environment where processes are still evolving and there is no predefined solution or framework to follow.
• Experience in insurance, banking, financial services, or another regulated enterprise environment would be an advantage.
• Experience working with distributed or international teams would be beneficial.
