Overview

We are designing the grid of the future! 

In this role, you will support EPE’s Clients in maintaining compliance with NERC Operations and Planning Reliability Standards. Working under the guidance of senior compliance staff, you will build foundational expertise in NERC Reliability Standards while contributing to evidence gathering, documentation, and audit preparation for our clients.

Responsibilities

How you can make an impact:

  • Assist senior compliance staff with gathering, organizing, and submitting client compliance data.
  • Support the preparation of audit documentation and evidence packages under supervision.
  • Participate in client meetings, supporting and/or leading as needed.
  • Help maintain compliance tracking systems and records to support accurate reporting.
  • Contribute to procedure drafts for operational and compliance requirements under senior guidance.
  • Support periodic data submittals on behalf of clients, using client-provided evidence.
  • Assist with audit preparation tasks, including organizing materials for mock audits.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients.
  • Attend industry workshops, webinars, or training sessions to build regulatory knowledge and professional skills.

 

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of overall professional experience, with 0–3 years of directly applicable regulatory/compliance experience.
  • Basic understanding of power plant or transmission operations and planning concepts, or CIP concepts.
  • Foundational awareness of NERC Reliability Standards and the broader regulatory environment.
  • Strong data collection and organization skills, with an introductory understanding of compliance reporting processes.
  • Ability to support audit preparation tasks under supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Willingness to learn regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Location: This position will be located in Panama City, Panama

Travel:  Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less)
