We are seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe to join this patient-focused practice. If you are eager to learn, love to help others, and want to be part of a close-knit, supportive team for a long-term position, we'd love to meet you — even if you have no ophthalmology experience!
What You'll Do:
- Work side-by-side with the doctors, acting as their clinical assistant and scribe during patient visits
- Gather and document patient histories, perform preliminary eye tests, and support patient care
- Learn new skills and clinical techniques on the job—no prior ophthalmology experience required
- Float between the Havertown and Media offices as needed (sometimes both in one day)
- Work most shifts from 8am–5pm Monday–Friday, with one evening shift (12–8pm) per week
Who You Are:
- Bright, quick-thinking, and eager to learn
- Reliable and ready to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
- Flexible with your schedule and work location
- Genuinely interested in healthcare and supporting patient care
- Looking for a long-term position where you can grow and learn
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary: $19+ per hour (higher for experienced candidates)
