Daikin Applied is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst. The Lead Financial Analyst will lead the budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, strategic planning, business partnering, and process improvement to support informed decision-making and drive financial performance for Digital, Central Operations, and company-wide fixed cost reporting. Location: Plymouth, MN – Hybrid (3 days/week in office)

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the annual budgeting process and develop periodic financial forecasts.
• Review actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify trends and variances.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
• Translate financial data into actionable recommendations that support strategic and operational decisions.
• Investigate significant revenue, expense, margin, and cash-flow variances and communicate key drivers.
• Work with department heads to develop budgets, monitor spending, and improve financial performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reporting, planning processes, and financial systems.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance or Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to synthesize complex data, identify trends, evaluate alternatives, and develop recommendations that support informed business decisions.
• Communication & Interpersonal Effectiveness: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, build strong relationships, collaborate across functions, and effectively present financial information to diverse audiences.
• Business Acumen & Decision Making: Strong understanding of business operations and financial drivers, with the ability to exercise sound judgment, support strategic objectives, and contribute to profitable business outcomes.
• Customer & Stakeholder Focus: Proven ability to support internal customers, manage priorities effectively, respond to business needs, and deliver on commitments.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$153,300 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
