ELID - Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary:

Works with Warehouse Team Lead to generate and organize a Pre-Build (PB) schedule and work plan. Make sure that the PB team is on task and had the next needed work available and ready to run. Enter the data from the PB team (hours worked and units folded).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works in computer system to commit totals produce and labor hour to Pre-Build Jobs.
• Works with the Pre-Build team to have enough materials and tools to continually fold unit cartons.
• Works with the WH team lead, Warehouse Manager, and Carton Machine Operators to set and maintain a schedule that helps increase PPLH on the production floor.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed for this position.
• Work with other warehouse departments when needed.

Knowledge & Skills:

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Ability to accurately enter information into the computer inventory system for the completion of production jobs in a timely manner.
• Ability to research variances and resolve problems encountered in production job paperwork.
• Experience in multiple requirements planning systems and /or similar environments.
• Ability to stay on-task with minimal supervision until task is completed.
• Ability to determine tasks priorities and complete tasks in required time frames.
• Ability to write legibly and comprehensively.
• Must be able to communicate clearly either verbally and/or in writing requirements for position.
• Operate ten-key and PC programs i.e.: Syteline and /or other similar inventory control/ receiving programs / Microsoft Word/ Excel.
• Able to lift minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Perform essential duties and responsibilities safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Climb stairs.
• Communicate by telephone, in person, and/or by email.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 or more years of warehouse experience

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Regularly required to stand
• Occasionally/frequently required to walk
• Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel
• Regularly reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally/frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
