Job Description Summary
This part time adjunct staff position provides dedicated support for the School of Nursing's implementation and ongoing use of ProjectConcert and other academic technologies. The position coordinates data collection, entry, validation, and maintenance while also providing faculty and staff with training and technology support. The role will help establish accurate, consistent data-management processes and promote effective use of technology across School of Nursing academic and administrative operations.
ProjectConcert supports multiple areas relevant to nursing education, including student and faculty information, clinical placements, compliance, curriculum mapping, evaluations and surveys, and accreditation-related data
Duties/Responsibilities:
ProjectConcert Data Coordination and Management:
- Coordinate the collection of information needed for ProjectConcert from faculty, staff, programs, and existing School of Nursing records.
- Enter, update, organize, and maintain information in ProjectConcert.
- Review information for completeness and consistency and follow up with appropriate individuals when information is missing or requires clarification.
- Assist with maintaining accurate faculty, course, student, program, clinical, and other relevant records within ProjectConcert.
- Assist faculty and staff with retrieving information and generating routine reports from ProjectConcert,as appropriate.
- Help organize data and documentation needed to support School of Nursing assessment, evaluation, accreditation, compliance, and reporting activities.
- Maintain organized documentation of data processes, definitions, workflows, and procedures.
Faculty and Staff Education and Technology Support:
- Provide individual and small-group support to faculty and staff on the effective use of ProjectConcert.
- Develop clear, user-friendly instructions, quick-reference guides, FAQs, and other training materials.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and user support and help connect faculty and staff with appropriate University or vendor technical resources when additional assistance is needed.
- Assist with technology onboarding for new faculty and staff when appropriate.
Requirements:
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience with data entry, database management, administrative information systems, or similar work.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software applications quickly experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and follow projects through to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to handle institutional and student information appropriately and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a university, health professions program, nursing program, or similar academic environment
- Experience supporting faculty or staff with technology.
- Experience providing software training or developing instructional materials
Compensation Pay Range:
$25 /hour
